A near month-long investigation by the Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team (CRT) has resulted in two arrests and the seizure of crack cocaine, drug trafficking materials, and $420 cash.

A warrant was executed on Thursday at a residence in the 1100 block of 18th Street West.

One of the suspects brandished a can of bear spray and discharged it, which indirectly came in contact with a police officer.

The following items were located and seized: 80 grams of suspected crack cocaine, bear spray, multiple cell phones, digital scales, $420 Canadian currency.

Isaac Miaker, 20, and Ruac Peter, 39, face a number of charges related to trafficking and appeared Friday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court.

Peter was also charged with assaulting a peace officer.

During the arrest, the CRT members were assisted by the Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team (STRT) and Proactive Policing Unit (PPU).
