No one home in Midtown house fire

A home in the 200 block of 11th Street East was empty when Prince Albert Fire responded to a call there this morning.
Firefighters were called to the scene at about 6:45 a.m. and found heavy black smoke and fire coming from a second-storey window.
The fire was extinguished and crew searched the home for occupants found it empty.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
