Teen sustains serious injuries during early morning shooting

La Ronge RCMP are investigating a report of a shooting on Caroline Ratt Street.
Police received the call on Sept. 22 at approximately 4:20 a.m. and immediately responded. At the scene, they located an injured teen and she was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.
An investigation determined the victim was outside a residence when she was shot by an unknown individual. La Ronge RCMP continue to investigate.
Anyone with information or who saw suspicious activity on Caroline Ratt Street during the early morning hours of Sept. 22 is asked to report it by calling 310-RCMP. Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
