A couple of local high school football games will be under the lights on Friday.

The undefeated Melfort Comets are hosting their annual Under the Lights game at 7 p.m. against the Nipawin LP Miller Bears.

It’s Nipawin’s second game under the lights this season, after a 55-21 loss in Tisdale Sept. 12.

The Comet Football parents will be selling 50/50 tickets at the game, and the Comet Junior SAA is running a community barbecue beforehand.

In 6-man football, the Carrot River Wildcats welcome the St. Brieux Crusaders for a Friday Night Lights football game.

Game time is also at 7 p.m.

The Wildcats will be auctioning off four bags of canola seed at halftime.

There will also be a raffle tickets table with a variety of prizes.

The guaranteed 50/50 is $500.00, and the snack shack will be open.
