Gunshot fired at house on 20th St. E., no injuries reported

Prince Albert police are releasing details about a shooting investigation underway after a gun was discharged at a house in the 200 block of 20th St. E.

It happened around 2:15 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Police were initially called to a different location in the 2000 block of 4th Ave. E. by someone who had heard the gunshot. When officers arrived, they were flagged down by a man who explained the house that was shot at was on 20th St. E.

Police confirmed no one was injured, but damage consistent with a gunshot could be seen at the home. The Forensic Identification Section attended to the scene to help with the investigation.

The suspect was reported to have fled in a black car prior to police arriving. The only description is that it was a man wearing black pants, a t-shirt, a black mask and black gloves.
