Candidates confirmed for PAGC Vice-Chief election

The Prince Albert Grand Council annual Assembly and Elections will take place next month at the Prince Albert Exhibition Centre.

As per a press release on Friday, the four confirmed candidates for the vice-chief election are Alanis Rose Charles, Randy Clarke, Shavonne Rae Custer and the incumbent, Christopher Jobb.

Clarke, Custer and Jobb are all from Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation, while Charles is from Lac La Ronge Indian Band.

Jobb, who was first elected in 2016, is seeking his fourth term.

In 2022, he was re-elected on the second ballot of voting.
