Local chef Genalyn Dioso was named the winner of a top tourism award in Saskatchewan recently.
Dioso was given the Employee of the Year award by Saskatchewan Tourism at their annual Gather Together conference in Saskatoon on Sept. 24.
Dioso has been the executive chef at the North Star Restaurant in the Northern Lights Casino in Prince Albert for years.
She has won many local awards but this year was her time to shine on the provincial stage.
