Conditional sentence for man who struck motorcyclist near Melfort

The man charged after colliding with a woman on a motorcycle just west of Melfort has received a conditional sentence.

Evan Powers of Melfort faced charges of failure to stop after an accident resulting in bodily harm and driving while suspended.

He received an 18-month conditional sentence order in Melfort Provincial Court on Monday.

Among the conditions are a one-year driving prohibition and 50 hours of community service.
