Trojans sweep weekend series against Hounds

The Tisdale Trojans earned a weekend sweep over the Notre Dame Hounds over the weekend.

Tisdale started with a 5-1 victory in Wilcox on Saturday.

Carter Hudyma scored a pair for the Trojans, with singles from Ethan Janzen, Preston Hoppe, and Camryn Aebig.

Eleven Trojans had points in the game, and Jackson Dunn made 26 saves in the win.

Tisdale followed that up with a 4-3 victory in Sunday’s game.

Preston Hoppe, Jacob Tait, and Camryn Aebig scored in the first as the Trojans led 3-1.

Notre Dame cut the lead to 3-2, but Ethan Janzen scored the game winner in the third.

Wyatt Fleischhacker also stopped 26 shots in the Tisdale win.

Tisdale improves to 3-1 on the season and will hit the road to face the Saskatoon Contacts on Thursday.
