Oct 7, 2025 | 3:07 PM

A man facing multiple counts of possessing child sex abuse material and making it available online, has entered guilty pleas and is now awaiting sentencing.

Tyrone Bishop’s matters were discussed Tuesday afternoon at Prince Albert Provincial Court and he appeared in person.

Sentencing was scheduled for Jan. 13.

On July 4, 2024, the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit searched a home and examined several devices.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the internet.

In addition to the more serious charges, Bishop, by way of his lawyer, also entered multiple pleas related to breaching court orders while he was out on bail.
