Another significant donation has been made to the local effort to build a Ronald McDonald House, which is already under construction.

The charity announced on social media on October 8 that they had received a $50,000 gift from the Unified Parts Group, represented by the Krasicki family.

“As a locally owned business, we believe it’s important to give back to the communities that support us. Our decision to donate comes from seeing friends and families close to us who have relied on Ronald McDonald House. It’s comforting to know there’s a place where families can stay together when their child needs medical care, and we’re so proud to support the incredible work they do,” said the family in the post.

While Prince Albert currently has a Ronald McDonald room in the Victoria Hospital, the house will allow families of sick children to spend the night within walking distance.
