Tisdale residents asked to take survey about the 2026 budget

The Town of Tisdale is looking for feedback on their 2026 budget.

They have initiated a survey about the budget and what residents would like to see prioritized.

“The purpose of the survey is to find out what our taxpayers believe should be the priority for the 2026 budget,” Chief Administrative Officer Lovely Magnaye told northeastNOW.

The survey is something that is familiar to Tisdale residents. The town issued a community survey last year before Town Council’s Strategic Planning Section.

Magnaye said the goal is to get some valuable input on Tisdale’s direction.

“We would like to know what people think should be prioritized that is not on the list provided [in the survey],” Magnaye explained.

Some of the questions asked in the survey include where the town should spend more, less, or the same, what residents would like to see in relation to taxes, fees, and service level, and the most effective means of communication from the Town of Tisdale. Taxpayers are also being asked about what they think about building a new Town Office.

The good news is that residents will have a while to answer these questions and include their feedback. The survey will remain open until Dec. 31.

“The result of the survey could be one of the tools that Council may consider during budget deliberations,” Magnaye said.
