Some mixed results for the Tisdale Trojans after a busy weekend.

Tisdale opened the Thanksgiving weekend with a 5-4 overtime win over the Swift Current Legionnaires on Saturday.

After a scoreless first, the teams were tied at two after two periods, after Trojan goals from Carter Hudyma and Camryn Aebig.

Tisdale fell behind 4-2 in the third, but rallied with two late Jacob Tait goals sending the game to overtime.

Carter Hudyma netted the overtime winner, and Wyatt Fleischhacker made 26 saves in the victory.

The Trojans were blanked 3-0 the following day against the Legionnaires.

Jackson Dunn kicked aside 28 shots for Tisdale.

The Trojans didn’t enjoy their Thanksgiving Monday, dropping a 10-1 decision to the Wildcats in Warman.

Jacob Tait scored the lone Tisdale goal, with Wyatt Fleischhacker stopping 26 shots in net.

Tisdale is now 4-4 on the season, and they will take on the Prince Albert Mintos in a home-and-home this weekend, starting Saturday at the RECplex.
