Oct 17, 2025 | 9:32 AM

mgk , formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly, will perform the Grey Cup halftime show in Winnipeg on Nov. 16.

The my ex’s best friend and cliché musician is known for exploring different genres and transitioning from rapping to pop-punk and alternative rock.

The Grammy-nominated mgk will be making his way across North America on his Lost Americana Tour, in support of his seventh studio album with the same name, when he makes his stop in Winnipeg.

He’ll continue his tour with stops in Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal and Hamilton. He also has stops in Vancouver and Toronto scheduled for 2026.

The announcement came down just after 5 p.m. on Thursday on EtalkCTV.

This comes just one month before the big game.

Our Lady Peace will also start things off with the Kickoff Show.

That’s in addition to the artists performing throughout the week during the Grey Cup Festival, including the Reklaws, Alan Doyle and The Watchmen.

For the Riders to make it to the 112th Grey Cup in Winnipeg, they must win the Western Final, which will be hosted at Mosaic Stadium on November 8.

The Riders secured the home-field advantage after a win over the Toronto Argonauts on Oct. 10, securing top spot in the west.
