Trial dates have now been confirmed for a man accused of murdering his son’s alleged killer.

As per pre-trial discussions on Friday at Prince Albert Court of King’s Bench, Reginald Durocher’s trial will run from Oct. 26 to Nov. 4, 2026.

In relation to the April 2023 death of Ryan Clark, Durocher stands accused of second-degree murder.

Clark was killed outside a liquor store at Northside, just south of the Christopher Lake turn-off. He was the victim of a direct hit by a pickup truck, captured on nearby store surveillance cameras.

The case, which was originally for trial in October of last year, will be tried by a jury.

In 2016, Reginald Durocher’s son Christopher died by homicide and the man who was charged and later convicted – Ryan David Clark – was released from custody in late 2022 after the Supreme Court ordered a new trial. According to court records, the charge was stayed by the Crown on April 23, 2023.

Durocher has been in custody since the incident at the Northside bar and was denied bail in June 2023.
