RCMP investigating shooting in Stanley Mission

A teen was shot earlier this month in Stanley Mission.

An RCMP media release issued Monday states on Oct. 2 at around 2 a.m., officers received a report of a shooting that occurred on Ballantyne Street in Stanley Mission.

An investigation determined two teenage males were walking outside when one of them was injured by a gunshot. Police do not have any suspect descriptions to share at this time.

The victim, a teenage male, was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries and has since been released.

Stanley Mission RCMP continue to investigate and are asking the public for any information that could help their investigation.
