Two people sent to hospital after stabbing in West Flat neighbourhood

Prince Albert police say two people were transported to hospital, including one with life threatening injuries, following an incident Tuesday morning on Donaldson Street.

At 5:47a.m., officers responded to a report of an injured person and on arrival, located the victims that had been stabbed.

A 20‐year‐old man and a 19‐year‐old man were transported to Victoria Hospital by Parkland Ambulance. The 20‐year‐old sustained the more serious injuries and continues to recover in hospital.

The 19‐year‐old has since been discharged from the hospital.

Three people were arrested for aggravated assault.

A search warrant was executed at a residence on Donaldson Street Tuesday evening by Major Crimes Unit and the Forensic Identification Section. The three suspects arrested have since been released with no charges.

The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate.

Witnesses told paNOW the house where the stabbing occurred has been a source of multiple complaints.
