A camper fire that occurred Thursday night in a Prince Albert West Flat neighbourhood remains under investigation and is among several alarming calls made to the Prince Albert Fire Department (PAFD) in the past couple of days.

At 5:45 p.m., fire crews responded to the 800 block of 17th Street West. Upon arrival, crews found the camper trailer fully involved in fire.

Crews extinguished the blaze without incident, but the trailer was a total loss. There were no injuries reported.

On Friday, at 11:10 a.m., the Prince Albert Fire Department responded to the 700 Block of 13th Street West for a structure fire.

Upon arrival, there was heavy smoke coming from a shed located in the backyard of a home. Crews extinguished the fire, which was confined to the interior and had caused significant damage. Crews completed the overhaul and cooled all remaining hot spots. There were no injuries to report.

At exactly the same time, crews were also called to the 700 block of 15 Street West for a report of a vehicle fire.

On arrival, there was a passenger vehicle fully involved in a fire. The fire was extinguished and removed by a tow truck to the City Police compound for further investigation. There were no injuries.

While all three fires were close in proximity, it is not known if they are in any way connected.
