Fans to cheer on Blue Jays from afar as team looks to take World Series lead in L.A.

Crowds of Toronto Blue Jays fans will be cheering from afar as the team looks to take a World Series lead in Los Angeles tonight.

Watch parties will be held at the Rogers Centre and Nathan Phillips Square in downtown Toronto as the Jays take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3.

Like he did in Toronto’s 11-4 victory in Game 1, Bo Bichette will play second base and bat in the cleanup position.

Bichette returned to the Fall Classic after missing seven weeks due to a knee sprain. He came on as a pinch-hitter in a 5-1 loss to the Dodgers in Game 2 at Rogers Centre.

Nathan Lukes will start in left field for Toronto and Addison Barger, who hit a grand slam in Game 1, will start in right field.

Max Scherzer will be on the mound for the Blue Jays against Dodgers starter Tyler Glasnow.

Games 4 and 5 will also be played at Dodger Stadium. If necessary, the series will move back to Toronto for Game 6 on Friday.

The two teams are tied at a game apiece in the best-of-seven matchup, with the Jays opening the series with an 11-4 rout before L.A. responded with a 5-1 win on Saturday.

Blue Jays fans were quieted after Saturday’s loss but still expressed confidence in the team and said they expect a comeback in Game 3.

For the games played at Dodgers Stadium, Jays fans can purchase $15 tickets to watch the broadcast at Rogers Centre, with proceeds going to the Jays Care Foundation.

Meanwhile, the City of Toronto is hosting free public viewing parties at Nathan Phillips Square for all World Series games.
