Two Ontario men are facing a number of charges after Warman RCMP found a large amount of meth and unstamped cigarettes in a semi-truck at a weigh scale.

Highway Patrol officers and Provincial Protective Services stopped the truck and trailer on Highway 16 near Saskatoon at 12:30 on October 29.

They found the drugs and cigarettes, and arrested the two men in the truck, and RCMP were called in.

A search of the vehicle turned up three boxes of meth, weighing about 46 kilograms. The average dose of meth is 0.1 grams, so the three boxes contained up to 460,000 doses of the drug.

The 14 pallets of cigarettes would equal 4.2 million individual cigarettes.

45-year-old Jasvir Singh from Brampton, Ont., and 27-year-old Harbir Singh from Georgetown, Ont., are each charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of unstamped tobacco and having/selling/transporting tobacco that is not marked in a prescribed manner.

Jasvir Singh and Harbir Singh appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court on October 30, 2025.

Warman RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP’s Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team (STRT), who will further examine and process the seized items.
