Humboldt advances to provincial high school football final

There will be a new provincial champion in nine-aside football.

The Humboldt Mohawks scored a 42-16 victory over the defending champion Melfort Comets in Humboldt on Saturday.

The Mohawks will host Lumsden in the provincial final next Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Devils scored a 54-6 win over Melville in the other 4A semi-final.

The Watrous Wildcats moved on to the 2A six-aside final after a 64-30 win over Rosetown.
