Woman struck by vehicle Halloween night

A 23-year-old woman was rushed to hospital Halloween night with serious injuries following a crash in Prince Albert’s midtown area involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Shortly after 10:30 p.m., emergency responders were called to the intersection of Third Ave. East and 10th Street E.

On arrival there was an individual that was in the intersection that had been hit by a vehicle.

According to information provided by Parkland Ambulance, the woman was transported to hospital in serious but stable condition for further care.

The vehicle involved fled the scene and the driver as of Monday has not been located.

The Prince Albert Police Service continues to investigate. Anyone with information that may assist in the investigation is asked to contact police directly, or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
