Melfort RCMP looking for suspect behind theft of tools

RCMP in Melfort are asking for your help identifying the suspect in a theft from a local business.

On the afternoon of Oct. 31, a man entered the business and identified himself as working for a local commercial business.

He charged nearly $1,200 worth of tools to the business’ charge account, but it turns out he didn’t work for them.

The charges for the tools were voided, but the man was able to leave the area with the tools, and they have not been recovered.
