Local teams fighting for spot in provincials at volleyball regionals

The best 5A high school volleyball teams from across Northern Saskatchewan are in Prince Albert this weekend to see who heads to provincials next weekend.
Teams descend on Carlton for the 2025 5A Regional Volleyball tournament that begins on Friday afternoon, with both boys and girls competing simultaneously.
Either regional tournament has the same schools competing in Carlton, St. Mary, North Battleford, Lloydminster, Martensville, and Warman. Both brackets get underway at 3 p.m. at Carlton. The girls kick off with Martensville and St. Mary, while the boys begin with Warman and North Battleford.
The top two teams from each regional will advance to the Provincial tournament, where the boys will battle at St. Mary, while the girls compete in Lloydminster.
