Public help sought to find who assaulted a man in motel parking lot

Battlefords RCMP are looking for public help solving an assault case from August that saw man taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The man was found in a motel parking lot on Highway 16 near North Battleford just before 10 p.m. on August 31, 2025.

Officers patrolled the area but could not find any suspects.

In the following months, the investigation has continued and officers are now asking for the public to send any information they can.

The victim was wearing a black T-shirt, denim vest, blue jeans and cowboy boots when he was assaulted. The information is being shared to help jog memories of people who may have witnessed the assault.

Battlefords RCMP is asking anyone with information about this incident or who remembers seeing suspicious activity in the motel parking lot area on Highway 16 in the evening of August 31, please contact Battlefords RCMP at 310-RCMP (7267).
