Hand-painted storefront windows bring nostalgic cheer to North Battleford
It’s a seasonal delight – storefront window paintings featuring holiday scenes that brighten up public spaces and attract the attention of potential customers who slow down to enjoy the artwork instead of just hustling by.
Local artist Michele Rogers is behind several of the storefront window paintings currently on display in Noth Battleford. There are cartoon characters having snowball fights and caricatures of curious kids with their tongues stuck to frozen poles, while some of her other work has a bit more of a traditional feel to it featuring embellished wreaths and greenery.
