Pelican Narrow RCMP investigating second Remembrance Day shooting

On Nov. 11, around 11:30 p.m., Pelican Narrows RCMP officers received a report of an individual with a gunshot wound at a local residence.

An investigation determined an interaction occurred between a man and an unknown individual near a residence on Nesoteo Road. Police said a firearm was discharged, injuring the man.

He was taken to a medical centre by EMS with injuries described as non-life threatening.

This is a separate incident from another shooting that occurred in Pelican Narrows earlier that same day. RCMP note at this time, it has not been determined whether the two incidents are connected.
