Crop Fundraiser raises nearly $40k for St. Brieux area
A crop fundraiser in St. Brieux has raised nearly $40,000 for organizations within the northeast community.
This year was the third installment of the fundraiser and raised the largest sum to date, which is set to go to the local Rec Center and Kin Club.
“We’re a big agriculture community, and we’ve had some great suppliers support the area. The community really came together to donate the products we needed, and we were able to turn them into cash for some great organizations. I think it’s been a fantastic fundraiser, and we really can’t thank these sponsors enough for helping out and really stepping up to the plate,” explained fundraiser organizer, Curtis de Gooijer.
“The rec center is the hub of the community, and our local Kin Club is very active with lots of initiatives. Both always have lots on the go, and I think they’re both very appreciative of all the support.”
