RCMP in the Battlefords are asking the public to watch for a red Honda Civic after an armed robbery reported early Monday on Moosomin First Nation.

Police received a call around 2:25 a.m. on Nov. 24 and learned a group of individuals threatened a man with both a firearm and a knife before stealing his vehicle. The victim did not report physical injuries.

Mounties say the suspects include two males and two females.

Three were wearing medical masks. One man is described as being more than six feet tall with a thin build. One of the women had neck tattoos, while the other is described as short with a heavy build.

The stolen vehicle is a 2018 red Honda Civic with Saskatchewan licence plate 617 PBJ.

Police urge the public not to approach the car if seen, and instead report sightings to RCMP by calling 310-RCMP. Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.

“Battlefords RCMP continue to actively investigate this incident,” the detachment said in a release issued Tuesday.
