UFA applies to build in RM of Prince Albert

Nov 27, 2025 | 1:33 PM

An Alberta-based farmer co-operative has applied to build a cardlock and bulk fuel station in the RM of Prince Albert.

United Farmers of Alberta has a development permit before the RM for a multi-phase project.

The cardlock station would be constructed in the spring, followed by a retail agriculture store and a fertilizer blending facility.

The proposed development would be at Elevator Road and the Highway 2 East Service Road, between the City of Prince Albert boundary and the intersection to Highway 11 to Saskatoon.

A public hearing on the application will be held at the RM of Prince Albert officer on December 11.

UFA already has 10 fuel locations in Saskatchewan, including Melfort, Humboldt and Corman Park.

If the project proceeds, Prince Albert would be the first – or one of the first – farm and ranch supply stores in Saskatchewan, according to their website.

News of the development was first shared by paNOW last week.
