Melfort man sentenced after weapons seizure

A man arrested and charged in Melfort in June has been sentenced on several counts.

Police spotted Tyler Waldner when he was known to be on a warrant, and he was arrested.

Officers seized weapons and other items from a residence in Melfort.

Waldner was sentenced Nov. 27 in Melfort Provincial Court on three counts.

On one count he was sentenced to time served, while on two weapons and ammunition possession charges he received an 18-month conditional sentence.
