P.A. police search for suspect following overnight shooting

Prince Albert police officers responded to a weapons call around 2:10 a.m. in the 1300 block of 18th St. W. overnight.

The caller told police a man had been shot.

When they arrived, officers found a 44-year-old man outside of a home with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. He was treated by Parkland Ambulance paramedics and taken to the hospital for further care.

It is believed the suspect may have fled the scene prior to police arrival in a dark coloured truck.

The Prince Albert Police Service is asking anyone residing in the area surrounding the 1300 block of 18th St. W. to check their home security or doorbell cameras for video of a dark coloured truck, or any other suspicious activity between 1:45 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 4.
