Three charged following an investigation on Moosomin First Nation
Three individuals have been charged after firearms and stolen property were recovered following an investigation on Moosomin First Nation.
Battlefords RCMP received a report of a stolen vehicle from Martinson Beach, Sask. on the morning of Dec. 10.
North Battleford Police Dog Services located the stolen vehicle on Moosomin First Nation later that evening. During an attempt to stop the stolen vehicle, the driver collided with the police vehicle while fleeing the scene. Police officers reported no physical injuries.
Officers observed the stolen vehicle pulling into a nearby residence, which is where the driver was arrested, and a search for the occupants began. As a result of the investigation, a second person was arrested at the residence.
