Murder charged laid in Wollaston Lake suspicious death

A 60-year-old man is facing a charge of second-degree murder following a suspicious death in Wollaston Lake last week.
On Dec. 19, officers with RCMP Major Crimes executed a search warrant at a residence in the community in relation to the death of 33-year-old Michael Denechezhe on Dec. 17.
With assistance by the Saskatoon Police Service, officers arrested 60-year-old Charlie Denechezhe in Saskatoon and charged him with second-degree murder. He will appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on Dec. 22 at 9:30 a.m.
