Vehicle used in shooting found, no arrests made

Prince Albert Police have found a vehicle that was used as part of shooting on New Year’s Eve that did not result in any injuries.

Officers were looking for an older model, dark-coloured SUV that was involved in a shooting in the 200 block of 20th Street East.

Initially, officers responded to a weapons call at 10:25 p.m. on Dec. 31 and learned someone shot a gun at a residence.

Video surveillance showed the SUV parked outside of the home at the time.

A male suspect got out of the vehicle and discharged a weapon. The SUV then drove east on 20th Street.

Police are continuing to investigate in relation to this shooting and anyone with information on the incident or the vehicle involved is asked to contact police at 306-953-4222.
