Trojans, Thunder, Wolfpack all in action this weekend

The Tisdale Trojans return to U18 AAA action Saturday night after a 10-day break.

The Trojans will host the Saskatoon Contacts in a pair of games on the weekend.

Saturday’s game at the RECplex will start at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday afternoon’s game begins at 2 p.m.

Tisdale is seven points back of fifth place in the standings.

In the Prairie Junior Hockey League, the Carrot River Outback Thunder take on the Saskatoon Westleys at home on Saturday.

Puck drop is at 7:30 p.m.

The Thunder beat the Saskatoon Royals 4-3 in overtime on Tuesday, thanks to a goal by Cash Aasen.

Carrot River is 13-18-0-2 on the season.

The North East U18 AA Wolfpack have a pair of weekend games as well.

They will host the Saskatoon Crunch in Tisdale at 4:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

The Wolfpack will head to Prince Albert on Sunday for a 5:30 p.m. puck drop.

North East looks to improve on their 7-14-0-1 record.
