Roxy Fisher won’t reveal the address of the La Ronge home she claims she shared with a poltergeist, but she’s preparing to tell her story to a television audience.

Fisher, who now lives in Saskatoon, was contacted about two weeks ago by a producer of Paranormal Survivor. The series pairs first-person accounts of alleged supernatural encounters with dramatic re-enactments.

The producer invited her to Toronto this November for an all-expenses-paid trip to be interviewed. Once she got over her initial doubts, Fisher jumped at the opportunity.

“I thought for a while it was a scam and I thought ‘oh my goodness, I don’t think this is real.’”

“It could be neat to be on the show. I am just excited about it,” she said.

Fisher documented her experiences in Knock, Knock: The true story of a family in Northern Saskatchewan living with a poltergeist, published in October 2022. The book has sold about 400 copies.

She moved into the home in 2004 and said that within days, she saw a ghostly apparition floating above her as she lay in bed.

In the weeks and months that followed, Fisher said she witnessed a wine glass smash and a painting fly off the wall. She also reported strange sounds, menacing voices, unwanted physical contact and unexplained smells.

Four years after the book’s release, questions about the house continue to follow her.

“People are finding it very interesting. I am noticing on Facebook a lot of them still don’t know what house it was, and I still won’t give it to them because of the privacy of new owners, but I am finding a lot of people in La Ronge have their own stories,” Fisher said.

Some readers have gone straight to the source, messaging her to ask for the address. She has no plans to share it.

“It’s a secret. If someone figures it out then so be it.”

Paranormal Survivor first aired in 2015 and has appeared on streaming platforms including Netflix and Prime Video. Production has begun on its sixth season.

Fisher doesn’t yet know when her episode will air, but hopes it will reach viewers in 2027.
