The Warman Wolverines tallied three goals in the third period as they rebounded from a Friday night loss with a 4-2 win over the Flin Flon Bombers at the Whitney Forum in Flin Flon.

Neither side found the back of the net through the opening frame as it was scoreless after the first period with the shots 11-6 in favour of the Wolverines.

The scoring drought would continue until the 8:01 mark of the second period when Oliver Nottingham fired in his third goal of the season late to give the Wolverines a 1-0 lead after 40 minutes of play.

Warman would continue the scoring momentum in the third period when Bennet Leibel tallied a power play goal for his third of the season to double the lead to 2-0. Nate Crashley further added to the Wolverines score when he fired in his fourth goal of the campaign and Noah Derouin found an empty net to make it 4-0 well into the period.

The Bombers would deny Luke Brunen of a shutout when Jared Miskiw scored a power play goal to put the home side on the board. Flin Flon continued to rally with a Hudson Brehaut goal in the final minute but Warman held on to earn their first ever win at the Whitney Forum and end a two-game losing skid.

The Wolverines maintain their hold on first place overall at 12-4-2 while the Bombers slip to fourth in the SJHL and second in the UPL Division at 11-5-1.
