PAMC World Traveler’s Walk-a-Thon
PAMC’s World Traveler’s Walk-A-Thon was initiated last year to address the fact that no one has really been able to travel this year or the last due to COVID-19.
In light of this, PAMC thought it would be a great idea to host a fundraiser with a travelling theme.
The World Traveler’s Walk-A-Thon will consist of several pavilions that will be set up along part of the rotary trail (2.5 km one way for a total of a 5km walk there and back) themed after specific countries and offering information about the chosen country and a multicultural activity for the walkers as well. The walk will start and end at the Prince Albert Elks Club.
The walkers are expected to earn pledges and will be given “passports” to be stamped by each booth (stamps provided by PAMC) Once they return from their walk, participants with all of the stamps from each booth in their passports, will be entered in a raffle to win a prize.
