Male youth arrested in relation to recent murder in Bell’s Point

A 17-year-old male was arrested in La Ronge on July 29 in connection to an incident in Bell’s Point last month.

He appeared in La Ronge Provincial Court the morning of Aug. 2. Due to his age, police cannot identify him as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The male youth, along with five others, are facing charges of first-degree murder among other charges.

All six are also charged with one count of breaking and entering to commit the indictable offence of mischief.
