UPDATE: Warrants issued for three men following Red River shooting

UPDATE: Prince Albert RCMP have notified the public that Kade Patterson, Klay Patterson and Kein Patterson have been located and arrested by Waskesiu and Prince Albert RCMP on Aug. 3. They will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Aug. 5.

Prince Albert RCMP has issued a warrant for three men involved in a shooting on the Lac La Ronge Indian Band side of Little Red.

Last Saturday at around 4:45 a.m., RCMP received word of the shooting and an investigation determined a vehicle approached another that was parked in a driveway of a home. A firearm was discharged and two men in the parked vehicle were injured. The other vehicle fled.

The victims were taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.

Kade Patterson, 23, Klay Patterson, 25, and Kein Patterson, 27, all from Little Red, are each charged with:

  • two counts, discharge firearm with intent;
  • two counts, assault with weapon;
  • two counts, aggravated assault;
  • two counts, unlawfully cause bodily harm;
  • one count, use a firearm during the commission of an offence;
  • one count, careless use of a firearm;
  • two counts, point a firearm;
  • one count, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose;
  • one count, possession of prohibited weapon;
  • one count, unlicensed possession of a prohibited weapon;
  • one count, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle;
  • one count, possession of a prohibited weapon with ammunition.

Klay Patterson stands approximately 6-1 and is 170 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Kein Patterson stands 5-8 and 150 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes.

A description of Kade Patterson is not available at this time.
