Residents head to polls to vote for new mayor

Voters will decide today who will be La Ronge’s next mayor.
Voting for the top spot on council began at 9 a.m. and will continue until 8 p.m. at the municipal office. Joe Hordyski and Matthew Klassen, two current members of council, are the two names on the ballot.
The by-election was triggered when former mayor Colin Ratushniak provided his resignation by written correspondence on July 26.
