Another three men are facing charges that include first degree murder in connection with the death of Wesley Custer in August of 2020.

RCMP announced today that Brian Dreaver, age 30 of Ahthakakoop, Kyle Standing, age 25 from Saskatoon and 29-year-old Matthew Whitstone of Pelican Lake have all been charged with one count of first degree murder.

All three will appear in Prince Albert court on February 6.

Three other men are already making their way through the court system following charges of second degree murder and being an accessory after Custer died in 2020.

Tyson Lachance is charged with second degree murder. Evan Ledoux has multiple charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, uttering threats and possessing property obtained by crime.

Curtis Ledoux is charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.

The victim, who was 20 when he died, was taken to hospital in Shellbrook in August of 2020 with serious injuries, dying shortly afterwards.

Custer was originally from Denare Beach but had moved to Prince Albert and Montreal Lake in the time before his death. He had two young children.
