LLRIB seeks nominations for appeals committee for upcoming election

Lac La Ronge Indian Band (LLRIB) is inviting nominations for the Election Appeals Committee for the upcoming elections taking place in March 2023.

Interested and eligible individuals can fill in the form here, self-attest/sign, and mail/send it to LLRIB executive director Gladys Christiansen at gchristiansen@llrib.ca on or before Feb. 15.

As per the LLRIB Election Act, an Election Appeals Committee will be appointed by council no later than two days before the nomination meeting in the year of an election and shall be responsible for administering appeals pursuant to the Act and the Election Regulations.

Eligible individuals who are members, and who meet the criteria listed below, may nominate themselves.
