Northern Bears return to home ice to battle the Sharks
The Prince Albert Northern Bears are looking to grab their first win of February as they start a four-game series with the Battlefords Sharks.
The Bears haven’t played in nearly 10 days following a 10-0 loss to the Saskatoon Stars on Feb. 14. Before that, the team had a 7-2 loss to Regina with Tristyn Endicott scoring both goals for the team.
Heading into Thursday’s game, the Bears sit with six wins on the season, sitting in fifth place in the standings ahead of Weyburn and the Sharks.
Julia Cey hopes to continue her impressive season so far as she’s scored 12 goals and eight assists. Teammate Tristyn Endicott leads the team in assists with 15.
