One in custody after lengthy standoff on P.A.’s River Street

Prince Albert Police say one man is in custody after a lengthy standoff on Friday.

SWAT was deployed to a residence in the 800 block of River Street East where police were on scene all afternoon and into the night.

Smoke grenades were used and the suspect eventually came out of the house and is now in police custody.

No further details were released.
