Pierceland RCMP have laid charges following a drug bust on November 26, on Big Island Lake Cree Territory.
A 30-year-old man from Big Island Lake Cree Territory was arrested and charged on two counts, the first being possession for the purpose of trafficking along with an assault charge.
According to a news release, after responding to the call, RCMP officers found roughly “73 grams of methamphetamine, 31 grams of crack cocaine, and a wallet containing identification cards” and his court appearance was set for November 30 at the Meadow Lake Provincial Court.
