Man killed at Red Earth

Hit-and-run kills man on Red Earth Cree Nation

RCMP are investigating the death of a man at Red Earth Cree Nation.

Police were called at 4:30 a.m. Feb. 12 to a report of an injured man on Highway 163.

The 31-year-old man from Red Earth Cree Nation was declared dead at the scene, and his family has been notified.

The investigation suggests the man may have been hit by a vehicle that left the scene.

Carrot River RCMP and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service are investigating.
