RCMP ask for public’s help following suspicious death on Red Pheasant

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate the death of Candie Pritchard on Red Pheasant Cree Nation.

Pritchard’s remains were discovered near a home on the First Nation Feb. 5.

Her death is being treated as suspicious.

Police say 44-year-old Pritchard, of Rabbit Lake, was last seen in the Red Pheasant Cree Nation area and at several residences on the First Nation around the first week of January, 2024.

Investigators are seeking more information from the public about her whereabouts during that time.

If anyone spoke with Pritchard or saw her in the Red Pheasant community, they are asked to contact Battlefords RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
