Unauthorized request for bottles and cans leads to warning from P.A. SPCA

A local non-profit is asking residents to be careful if someone comes by asking for cans or bottles.

The Prince Albert SPCA said they’ve been made aware of people going door-to-door asking for empty bottles and cans for the charity.

In a post on Facebook, the SPCA said that no one affiliated with them is going around asking for recyclables.

The SPCA will accept empty cans or bottles but is asking people to go directly to SARCAN and use the Drop & Go system.
